Description

EXTERIOR

Efficient, widely spaced engines and optimised propellers ensure excellent manoeuvrability of the catamaran even in the tightest of spaces, e.g. in marinas. A bow thruster can also be installed on request. The ship's structure is prepared for an optional hybrid drive.

The rig with stable aluminium mast and boom is equipped with a full battened or optional furling mainsail, furling genoa/jib and furling staysail/storm sail. These sails and also the optional spinnaker, gennaker, code zero etc. are from ONE-Sail and are all recyclable.

The helm station, which is integrated halfway up and protected in the roof, enables all-round visibility and a clear view during all manoeuvres. At the same time, there is direct visual and auditory contact with the cockpit and saloon. A removable bimini provides shade for the helmsman.

Aft cockpit

In the 21.5 square meter aft cockpit, the long-distance sailor will find everything that makes life pleasant: seating area with table, sun lounger for two, barbecue, refrigerator, sink and worktop for cleaning freshly caught fish. Diving bottles, diving compressor and life raft are also easily accessible.

From the helm station, 3 steps lead up to the roof, where a spacious seating and sunbathing area is set up at the rear, without the boom being set higher at the expense of sailing performance. There is plenty of space for solar panels/solar film at the sides and in front of the seating area. A removable biminitop provides shade on the sun deck.

Every Catmar® Range Explorer is equipped with davits and can be fitted with an optional hydraulic rear platform.
