NEW: Catmar Range Explorer 64

The new “custom-made” all-aluminium sailing catamaran Catmar® Range Explorer 64 is the perfect long-distance cruising yacht for a couple, a family or a group for worldwide blue water cruises to the most remote corners of the world.

Its timeless design conveys elegance and power at the same time and contributes to a very comfortable and safe sailing experience. The result is a homogeneous, torsion-resistant rigid and extremely stable structure preventing creaking noises at sea.

With its upwind One Sails Hydranet sail area of 240 sqm (main 145sqm, genoa 95 sqm), it offers a high sailing potential for fast and save cruises.

An impressive living area of around 245 sqm on three decks, a headroom of 2.15 metres throughout the yacht and particularly large storage spaces have been created for living on board for months or years.

The wide, covered aft cockpit, the forward cockpit and the large flybridge offer spacious outdoor living areas in all weather conditions.

The new Catamar® Range Explorer 64 has also been developed for the use of sustainable, high-quality building materials and components and is prepared for an optional hybrid drive configuration.

Catamaris® is committed to environmental protection and sustainability. Most of the components used can be recycled and reused in an environmentally friendly way.

CUSTOM DESIGN ACCORDING TO YOUR PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

A particular strength of Catamaris is that the Catmar Range Explorer catamarans are not built in series. Catamaris® starts where most (series) shipyards stop.

This means that the design of the Catmar® Range Explorer 64 shown here can be completely customised to your preferences or as a completely new catamaran design.

In close co-operation with you and our design office, the shipyard and the Catamaris® team, your personal objectives, e.g. with regard to the equipment, the propulsion system, the sail wardrobe, the interior layout and styling, etc., are defined.

The layout, design, choice of materials, fabrics, colours, finishes and all options make the new catamaran your very own personal masterpiece.

EXTERIOR

The following description is to be understood as a guideline. Thanks to our ‘custom’ construction method, this can be adapted to your personal ideas.

The hulls and keels, the deck and the superstructure are made of class-certified 5083 H 321/H111 aluminium. The hulls are equipped with aluminium bulkheads and reinforced bow tips. More about the advantages of aluminium.

Efficient, widely spaced engines and optimised propellers ensure excellent manoeuvrability of the catamaran even in the tightest of spaces, e.g. in marinas. An optional bow thruster could be considered.

The engine compartments, which are separated by watertight and soundproof bulkheads, house the generator, diving compressor, watermaker and other technical equipment and are easily accessible for maintenance by large telescopic deck hatches.
